WHO'S RUNNING THE SHOW:
An Exciting New Era for
Not Man Apart – Physical Theatre Ensemble (NMA)
A CHANGING OF THE GUARD
As of Spring 2016, with the company’s critically acclaimed production of Aaron Hendry's The Superhero and his Charming Wife, NMA has changed leadership and is shuttling forward a new era for the company.
Founder and Artistic Director John Farmanesh-Bocca (Director of NMA's Ajax in Iraq, Pericles Redux, Hercules Furens, Titus Redux, etc.) will now be taking on the role of Emeritus Director, while longtime company members and administrators Laura Covelli, Aaron Hendry, and Jones Welsh will now share the role of Co-Artistic Directors of Not Man Apart.
With a residency at The Greenway Court Theatre and a new relationship with Pepperdine University, this is a very exciting time for Not Man Apart. Building on a track record of innovative and daring physical theatre, these new alliances and fresh leadership will continue to make the company an exciting part of the fabric of Los Angeles Theatre.
