Jonathan is a founding member of Not Man Apart appearing in Pericles Redux as well as several productions with NMA’s Partner Program, Shakespeare Santa Monica. Most recently he served as the Assistant Director and Dramaturg for Lysistrata Unbound and curated NMA’s first New Works Incubator in residency at New American Theatre. He is the founding Co-Artistic Director of Smoke & Mirrors Collaborative (SMC) in NYC and an Annenberg Arts Fellow for his work as a theater maker. SMC’s work has performed off-Broadway (59e59 Theaters) and internationally in South Africa, UK, and Germany. Other directing and movement director credits include works for NYU Tisch, University of Maryland, Theater J, Theater Alliance, Touchstone Theatre, and Redhouse Arts Center. As a performer, War Horse at Lincoln Center Theater (original Broadway cast), at regional theaters across the country, and with Washington Ensemble Theatre of Seattle where he was a founding Co-Artistic Director.

A theater educator for over fifteen years, Jonathan has taught classes and workshops at NYU, University of Maryland, James Madison University, MCC Theater, Theater J, Redhouse Arts Center, Theater Alliance, and across South Africa through the support of the US State Department. MFA: NYU Grad Acting.
