CENTER GRAVITY - CIRCUS ACROBATICS AND AERIAL ARTS
Center Gravity is a Seattle/China based entertainment company that creates workshops, classes, and intensives, teaching aerial and acrobatics internationally and creating event entertainment. Founders Anne-Marie and Jones Talmadge performed aerial and acrobatics with Cirque du Soleil’s XShow in China before relocating to their home state of Washington. They developed their own signature movement technique called 360 Flow that incorporates elements of dance, acrobatics, and martial arts into connected and fluid movement transitions. They are excited to offer their training programs in collaboration with Not Man Apart in Seattle and Alpha Gymnastics in Woodinville. Click on the programs below to find out more and register:

NMA Workshops, training, and education partnerships
In addition to creating performances, Not Man Apart hosts many professional workshops and intensives. Our signature workshops include elements of: Energy Delivery, Power Building Techniques, Voice and Breath, Dynamic Partnering, Body Mechanics, Clown and Comedy, Viewpoints, Contact Improv, Fluid Systems, and Meyerhold. Our outreach programs place teaching artists in schools and community centers to instruct a broad range of arts, sports, dance, martial arts, circus, and yoga. We have an extensive history of residencies with universities and other institutions, including Pepperdine University, Cal State Long Beach, Juilliard, NYU, LA County High School for the Arts, and many locations in the Los Angeles Unified School District. The Los Angeles Improv Dance Festival is a workshop, collaboration and performance series that operates year-round. Since 2005, ID Fest has brought some of the greatest teachers and improvisational artists from all over the world to Los Angeles, as well as provided opportunities for local LA artists. Unique collaborations have been presented and student works created by such artists as Simone Forti, Kristie Simpson, Charlie Morrissey, Scott Wells and Dancers, Ruth Zaporah, KJ Holmes, Rudy Perez, Lower Left Performance Collective, Nina Martin, Kim Epifano, and many more.
SOMATIC MOVEMENT ARTS FESTIVAL
An annual festival of workshops & performances offering diverse movement practices that cultivate body-mind integration, creativity, presence & community. SOMAfest provides people from around the world with the capacity to take their health and creativity into their own hands, to deepen into the greatest version of who they truly can be.
For over ten years, featuring over 100 Artist Educators and Performers, including some of the world's most prominent movement innovators, such as Emilie Conrad, Anna Halprin, Simone Forti, and Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen!
